LUCID Implants
2019 – Present
Cofounder & Director
Hands‑on founder‑operator who built an end‑to‑end, surgeon‑centric pipeline for patient‑specific implants; drove 6× revenue growth in 3 years, achieved ISO manufacturing scale and hospital adoption, and sustained EBITDA‑positive performance; raised ~₹2.0 Cr in angel funding.
Built and led the commercial go‑to‑market for patient‑specific craniomaxillofacial implants and converted research into recurring sales: grew annual revenue from ₹0 to ₹7 crore ARR and established a pipeline of ~200 monthly orders
Scaled manufacturing from prototype to regulatory grade: expanded capacity from bench to an ISO 13485 certified cleanroom production facilities with metal and polymer additive manufacturing, achieving a planned capacity increase from 288 → 4,032 units/year
Built clinical credibility and early adoption: secured MoUs with tertiary hospitals and teaching institutes (AIIMS Raipur, GDC Nagpur, HCG, KIMS etc), and converted those engagements into recurring hospital contracts and government tender participation.
Designed and scaled the commercial engine: established direct surgeon engagement processes, grew an authorised distributor network to 50+ active distributors, while running surgeon workshops and conference outreach that increased new‑surgeon onboarding and order frequency.
Leadership and execution: grew core headcount to ~20, implemented KPI dashboards (orders/month, AOV, capacity utilization, revenue per employee), and used those metrics to align hiring, procurement and sales investments.
Fundraising and capital planning: led investor engagement and term‑sheet negotiations for funding of ~₹2 crores to finance facility expansion, cleanroom build‑out and major capex

Researcher
For two years, I was part of the group that led a transdisciplinary research program to design and fabricate bioactive, non‑load‑bearing bone scaffolds using Hydroxyapatite (HA) and beta‑Tricalcium Phosphate (β‑TCP).
Engineered patient‑matched porous scaffolds optimized for osteoconductivity and controlled resorption using additive manufacturing and biomaterial processing.
Completed the full translational pipeline: systematic in vitro characterization, controlled in vivo animal studies, and successful clinical case studies demonstrating bone regeneration and safe scaffold resorption.
Converted research outputs into a practical clinical pathway and manufacturing protocol, which became the technical foundation for founding LUCID Implants.
